Why would God call you to go to the end of the earth? Maybe that's just the point... Stepping out of our comfort zones, out of our country, our continent, and even our side of the equator, to live what God's people live, see through their eyes, and learn such valuable lessons from them that you will never be able to be the same again.
Just as a side note, it is refreshing to go to a Hispanic country where you won't physically look like an outsider (a great portion of the people look European), people are educated and respectful, and you don't need to worry about corruption. And all this while you are not just learning about, but LIVING the experience of ministry among the people of Latin America, and being immersed in Spanish at the same time.
